My name is Corinne Kennedy, but you can call me Potato if you like. It was a nickname given to me by my Grandmother as a little patanella. I used the nickname for as a username and my friends started using it in real life. It took root and I've grown into it.

I am a digital artist born, raised, and residing in Massachusetts. Since I was old enough to know crayons are not candy, I've been creating. I spend much of my time sketching, painting, coloring, sculpting, cutting, and/or pasting. I scarcely go a day without making something or talking with friends about what they're making. If I'm not creating, I'm gaming with friends.

I'm passionate about art and games. When the time came to decide what I to do with my life and where to go to college, my high school guidance counselor recommended Worcester Polytechnic Institute for its Interactive Media and Game Development major. The school and major matched me perfectly. I applied solely to WPI and danced for joy when the acceptance letter arrived. I went to an engineering school to studied art and game development, and I LOVED every minute of it. In 2014, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media and Game Development.

At WPI I polished my skills and refined my style. I studied under some great teachers who taught me so much. They opened my eyes to whole new and exciting ways to create.  I worked on so many projects and collaborations and I had an absolute blast.

After WPI I went on to complete a certificate program at MassBay Community College. There I learned about CAD/CAM and gained a stronger understanding of computer programming and I even did a little bit of robotics. It really broadened my horizons and helped me think of art as something more than just entertainment but as design and usability, as a way to solve problems. The program made me a more well rounded individual with more technical skills.

If I could pick any artistic niche, I'd go for Creature/Character Concept Artist. It's so much fun coming up with characters and figuring out their personalities, moods, and motivations and finding ways to convey those details at a glance. I have a particular fondness for creating monsters and dragons.
