My mentor challenged the class to create 100 Gesture Drawings. We could use any reference material we liked including friends, family, photos, and movies. The only requirement was that we make 100 of them. I loved this challenge. I feel it really helped me to improve a lot as an artist and to see the world more clearly. Everytime I go to draw a figure I try to start with a basic gesture sketch.
